CEO’s Message

KSPO Returns the Entire Profits from Sports Toto to Public Interest Projects
KSPO Betting Tickets also known as ‘Sports Toto’ is a type of sports-based leisure game in which success depends upon analyzing the previous performance of competing teams, which in turn requires a keen interest in the sports concerned.

Sports Toto was launched in October 2001, to help finance the 2002 Korean-Japan World Cup, and the entire profits have been returned to the Korean Sports Promotion Fund. KSPO raised USD 1.2 billion by selling printed tickets between 2001 and 2020. These funds have been used to build sports infrastructure, such as the 2002 World Cup Stadium, and facilities required for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, as well as being distributed for leisure sports and to support community organizations.

Proto is a more flexible game in which participants can select from sports game events that have a variety of pre-disclosed payout ratios, thus tailoring the game to suit each player’s preference.
